Quarter Auction to Benefit Lending Library at Presbyterian Church
The Monroe Lending Library will host its first monthly Quarter Raffle on Friday, February 15th at 7:00 (note time change) p.m. at the Monroe Presbyterian Church at 57 Elm Street in Monroe. Doors will open at 6:30 for viewing the items to be raffled.
Door admission is $1 per person. Quality items will be raffled from Avon, Tastefully Simple, Home Interiors, Pampered Chef, Gold Canyon Candles, Park Lane Jewelry, Stampin Up, Tupperware, Discovery Toys, Mary Kay, and Home Interiors.

Lending Library Book Sale at Kroger
Hardback books will be $1.00 each; paperbacks $0.50 each or 3 for $1.00.
Proceeds will go to purchase new books for the library.

Lending Library July News
Monroe Sophomore Amy Platt (flute) and friend Jessica Parker (piano)
entertained at the Library’s Dessert and Coffee Series on June 18.
The Library will participate in the Fourth of July parade honoring our top student volunteer, Krista House with over 100 volunteer hours and the top three mid-season Read-a-Book Contest winners, Velia Brock, Vitoria Wolff and Billy Brock.
The Library will also have a booth in the Community Park and will be selling memberships to the library (single $5.00 and family $10.00), hardback and paper books and homemade cookies.
The Library has recently added 24 new books on the best seller lists and by popular authors.
