Festival of Organ Music November 8

The First Presbyterian Church, 2910 Central Avenue in Middletown invites you to "A Festival of Organ Music - from Classical to Jazz", November 8 at 7 p.m. This eclectic concert features the mighty power and versatility of the pipe organ in concert with a variety of other instruments and voices. Musicians from the Middletown area will be highlighted on the piano, saxophone, clarinet, flute and hand bell tree as well as vocal soloists and First Presby's own CAAMP Children's Jr. Choir.

There is no charge for the concert.

MLL Quarter Auction - November 2nd

The next Quarter Auction will be held Saturday, November 2nd at 7pm at the Community Room at the Library (6 East Avenue).

All proceeds benefit the Monroe Lending Library Building and Operating Fund.

Bid paddles are $2 each and most items up for auction are 1 quarter (.25) bids. Extra raffle tickets and Split The Pot available.

Two chips in the bucket for a roll of quarters each. Special Jackpot Chip!

Otterbein welcomes public to its 45th annual fish fry

Otterbein Lebanon Senior Lifestyle Community is hosting its 45th annual fish fry. The public is invited to the festivities from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 27, for food, music, games, and much more. This year’s fish fry has a tie-dye theme, so everyone is encouraged to wear their most colorful tie dye. The cost for a meal is $9 for adults and $5 for children and this includes all-you-can-eat fish, fried shrimp, cole slaw, a slice of pie and a beverage. Attendees will enjoy music from River City Rewind and the Patriot Brass Ensemble. NFL legend and former Bengals player Icky Woods will be in attendance for memorabilia and autograph signing. KidZone is back, with a petting zoo, pony rides, magic shows, carnival games and much more! All of these activities are completely free for the community to enjoy. (click on image for full flyer).
