Enchelmeyer Chooses Methodist University

Kevin Enchelmeyer of Monroe High School will continue his baseball career at Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Enchelmeyer is a 3-year Varsity starter in the infield for the Hornets, helping them to their District Championship in 2007.    
Methodist University is a NCAA Division III member and competes in the USA South Conference.  Under the guidance of Head Coach Tom Austin, the Monarchs have tallied 13 Conference titles while averaging 32 victories per season.  They have appeared in six Division III College World Series, finishing no lower than fifth, and were national runners-up in 1995.
Enchelmeyer chose Methodist after considering offers from several schools, including DePauw University (IN), Centre College (KY), Trinity University (TX), and Virginia Wesleyan College.
