PTO Family Night and Family Night at the Scholastic Book Fair

The evening's events will feature full-service shopping at the Scholastic Book Fair from 3:30 until 7:30pm. Parents, grandparents, families and friends are welcome to shop for books and gifts.

At 4:30pm there will be a Story Time in the Media Center as some of the book fair's titles are read aloud to children and families. At 5:00pm students and families will be welcomed back to the media center to hear Book Talks: short discussions advertising some of the best titles fromthe fair. Children who attend either the Story Time or Book Talk sessions with their parents will then be eligible to participate in a book fair Scavenger Hunt for prizes!

The evening will also include Balloon Art by Lea Crane from 5:30-6:30pm and a Magic Show by Tom Bemmes from 6:30-7:30pm.

Throughout the evening you will enjoy Student Artwork Displays, Button Making, Face Painting, and Market Day Samples. Popcorn, pizza, soft drinks, and bottled water will be sold along with a Bake Sale by the 5th and 6th grade band.
