The Hive is Alive! Students swarmed into the doors at Monroe today, ready to begin another successful year.

The Jr & Sr. High had extended periods in the morning to find lockers, practice locker combinations, receive the ever-popular enrollment/emergency forms, better known as "Parent Homework" and teachers went over rules and expectations with the students. This year each building will be focusing on being respectful, responsible and being a problem solver as well as being prepared. Even though summer is officialy over the students were glad to be back in the swing of things and reconnect with some friends as well. Good Luck Monroe! Go Hornets!

Welcome to the Monroe's new Primary Building!
Start: 3:07 pm
Monroe Primary's Kindergarten students started their official school careers today at the new Monroe Primary building at 210 Macready Ave., in Monroe. Mrs. Jody Long the school’s director and the staff were pleased with the student’s excitement and enthusiasm for school. Parents walked their “little ones” to class and took pictures . Some parents even had a harder time with the separation process than their children did. This is just the beginning for these little Hornets, and they’re off to a buzzing start already.
