“Let Heaven and Nature Swing”

Back by popular demand: We had such an overwhelming response and attendance (standing room only for both concerts) that the Monroe Community Chorus and Jazz Orchestra will be performing “Let Heaven and Nature Swing” again this year. The Chorus is made up of 60 of the finest voices from the Monroe and the surrounding area while the Jazz Orchestra is made up of 17 of the finest professional musicians in the greater Cincinnati area. The music will all be in wonderful jazz styles including swing, ballad, big band, contemporary, and many others. The Chorus will be also performing a new collection from the Glenn Miller Band and Chorus titled “Swing Into Christmas.” The Jazz Orchestra will be performing 2 original arrangements from the Glenn Miller Band titled “Jingle Bells” and “A Glenn Miller Yuletide Medley.”  The Jazz Orchestra will also be performing “Here Comes Santa Claus” as recorded by the great Stan Kenton Band. You will not want to miss this concert series! The dates are Friday December 3, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday December 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the beautiful Monroe High School Auditorium.
