All classes have a theme that is age-appropriate and educational. Parents and children interact while playing a variety of instruments, doing finger play songs and circle dances. Props, such as scarves, parachute, and beanbags, are also used. All activities are designed to encourage the development of social, cognitive, physical, and language skills. This is a great opportunity to interact with your child in a loving and educational environment. Sessions average $9 per class and will be held on Monday mornings at Monroe Presbyterian Church. Mommy and Me Make Music Begins its Second Year

Mommy and Me Make Music will begin its second year of classes this fall.  Children and caregivers interact in a loving and educational environment while playing a variety of instruments, singing songs, dancing, using props (such as balls, beanbags, and parachutes), and listening to stories.  Instructor Jodi Williams, a board-certified music therapist and mother of two small children, uses each musical activity to address social, cognitive, communication, physical, and developmental skills.  Classes are offered in two Monroe locations.  Free trial classes will be offered in August and September.  Please visit the website for dates and registration information.  www.MommyAndMeMakeMusic.com
