Veterans Memorial Dedication

The Veterans Memorial was officially dedicated on May 22, before the Memorial Day holiday. Speakers told stories from each of the American wars and the service flags were raised by representatives from each branch of service. The city's Memorial Day Service also took place at the new park. Above, Bob Hale receives the American flag.

Pavers will be engraved in place at this time. Both veterans and non-veterans pavers are still available. If you'd like to honor a veteran, or support the project with an inscribed paver, you'll find an order form on page 2 of the June issue or stop by the city building to pick one up.
