AARP Tax Help Available

The American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) tax aide volunteers provide free assistance to middle and low income taxpayers in the preparation of federal, state and local income tax returns. AARP tax aides are volunteers, trained in cooperation with the IRS and are IRS qualified, and knowledgeable about income taxes. They can complete basic income tax forms and answer your tax questions.

Service will be available for the first time for “walk-in” clients at the Monroe City Building. It will be open on Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. from February 7 through April 10.
Assistance to taxpayers is on a first come, first served basis during the hours noted above. Appointments are not needed.
