EXHIBIT TO FEATURE HISTORICAL PAINTINGS OF LATE AREA ARTIST

The Middletown Arts Center in cooperation with the Middletown Historical Society and MidPointe Library System is presenting an exhibition of the work of Herbert Fall, a Butler County artist known for his vivid depictions of local historical scenes.

Fall was born in 1891, the descendent of Miami Valley pioneers. His very first painting, made while a student at old Red Buck School in Warren County, won first prize in an exhibit at the Farmer’s Institute in Monroe. He received his formal art education at the Chicago Art Institute and the Art Academy in Cincinnati. Read more »

Create Your Free Message of Hope at the “Hope Tiles Blitz”

Craft your own message of hope for whatever concerns you have and make it a part of a special portable kiosk to be positioned at various locations in downtown Middletown.

The Middletown Arts Center will provide everything you need to prepare your individualized “Hope Tile” for free when you stop by the Center on Saturday, March 15th between 1:00 and 3:00 PM. You don’t have to be an artist to participate; you only have to be a person of HOPE! All necessary materials will be provided — paint, markers, stencils, patterns and ideas. Read more »
